Cultural Acknowledgement

Community Involvement Solutions Limited wishes to increase respect, understanding, and recognition of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people of the land that we operate in.

This acknowledgment pays respect to the traditional custodians and ancestors of this country, and the continuation of their cultural, spiritual, and religious practices.

We respectfully acknowledge the past and present traditional owners of the land of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and pay our respects to their culture and identity.

In particular, we acknowledge the Yuggera people who are the Traditional Owners of the territories from Moreton Bay to Toowoomba including the city of Brisbane (including Ipswich) in which our offices reside.

We wish to pay respect to the Elders, past, and present, and further acknowledge the important role that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people continue to play within our communities. We recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and non-Indigenous people in educating all people in this country, which we all share and live in together.
